Mouth-Watering Any-Night Salmon

I love home-cooked salmon! I almost always like it more than salmon I order at a restaurant. It’s simple to cook and the most nutrient-dense meat out there! It’s full of omega 3s that are great for heart health and brain development. Serve with veggies and rice or potatoes for a healthy, balanced meal.

Serves: 2-4
Time: 15 min

Ingredients

  • 2-4 salmon fillets (skin on)
  • Avocado oil or olive oil
  • Season All (or your favorite seasoning)

Method

  1. Heat the Pan: Add enough oil to provide a thin layer to cover the bottom of a frying pan. Heat the pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Season and Cook: Add the salmon fillets, skin side down, to the pan. Use a basting brush to brush a thin layer of oil on the top of each fillet. Then sprinkle seasoning over the fillets, to taste.
  3. Cover and Flip: Cover the frying pan with a lid and cook for about 5 mins. Then flip the fillets over and cook on the top side for about 3-4 mins with the lid on.
  4. Finish and Serve: Continue flipping and cooking, 1-2 mins per side until the salmon is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Serve with veggies and rice and enjoy!
